WHAT'S NEW?
Fall/Winter 2008/09
I played a concert in Second Life and wrote a new song called Chani. (You can DL the MP3 Here) It is getting very good reviews as I understand. Here is a link to a Youtube video of the piece: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hiRs9KuwgE --------------------------------------
A little piece of my Thanksgiving - 2008: much higher quality video (WMV file - 80MB) of Ian Usher achieving his goal #20:
Here are some videos of some of the work I have done now posted by various folks on YOUTUBE:
TRAILER for The Elephant King:
PAST WINS: QUENTIN TARANTINO'S VOICE Ari looped several pages of lines (Quentin Tarantino's voice) for the classic Miramax film "Four Rooms!" He replaced some of the "naughty language" lines for a television version, soon to be nationally broadcast.
PINK... & BROWN Ari recently had the honor and pleasure of winning the Miramax Films audition held recently here in LA to replace "cuss words" (27 lines in all) for a Television version of the feature film "Reservoir Dogs." On top of that...Ari ended up winning two roles - "Mr. PINK" (played by Steve Buscemi) and "Mr. BROWN" (played by none other than the Tarantino dude himself). Ari says that the job was both a challenge and a blast. [c l i c k o n l o g o t o l i s t e n]
POWER! A production company in India has produced a movie trailer type TV spot for a leading gasoline in East Asia. Very high budget with a great film trailer look!
ISDN TO IRELAND
Ari voice matched Sylvester Stallone and Will Smith for an Ad Agency in DUBLIN IRELAND.
The best way to see the two spots on a PC is to RIGHT mouse click on one or the other of the two links above and select ""Save Target As" to save it and watch in full motion. MAC users would apply the corresponding commands to save a file.
For Peace.. A track of Ari's New Age-ish music was chosen to be included in a CD called "Music for a Better World!" This is an album where Ari's song (Entitled "Awakening") is alongside Chaka Khan as well as many other name artists!
The 2 volume CD was created to promote peace around the world. The work was released to coincide with "Peace Sunday" and was sent to many influential people all over the planet. TOSHIBA Ari recently completed industrial on-camera projects for "Toshiba." He played various characters showing employees how to behave -- and how NOT to behave...
Just in time for Halloween... A while back Ari did A CD-ROM Trivia game produced by Trik Media and the entity which produces Fangoria Magazine. The game is called "Reel Scary Trivia" on which he did two main voices of the game - each differing entirely from each other - the Game Show Host and a character called "The Creep" (a sarcastic -- yes and creepy -- side kick).
Altogether There were 500+ questions for the players of this game to hear and try to answer. It was over 20 hours at the microphone recording content for the project over the course of about a week and a half.
OTHER ISDN A record was set for Ari in his doing a V/O for a housing development project in Pakistan from his Calif studio to the country of Singapore!
As far as Ari's US record, he patched in with a studio located in PORTLAND MAINE to do an extensive industrial narration session. Other ISDN projects include cities from DALLAS TX to NEW YORK to BEND OREGON.
Stay tuned for more...
